1st World Plastic Connection Summit®
The theme of the 1st World Plastic Connection Summit® was “Connecting the converted plastics industry with post-pandemic global trends”. It took place in an online format due to the pandemic, from November 3 to 6, 2021.
Project activities included the International Seminar, the launch of Color Trend® 2022 and the Yearbook 2021; the Buyers Project was held in an immersive 360º 3D environment adapted for the digital space. The edition also featured parallel actions, such as the presentation of the International Award.

Color Trend® 2022
Launched on November 3, 2021, during the 1st World Plastic Connection Summit®, held in online format, Color Trend® 2022 is curated by Walter Rodrigues.
The first edition of the international color trend guide featured a specific methodology for the converted plastics market, developed from interviews with Brazilian companies participating in Think Plastic Brazil.

Walter Rodrigues
Walter Rodrigues is a Brazilian stylist with a remarkable career in fashion, with shows at events such as SPFW, Fashion Rio, and Paris Fashion Week, in addition to dressing several celebrities.
Since 2012, he has dedicated himself to research, acting as a consultant and curator in design and innovation projects, with a focus on sustainability and product development. He is the coordinator of the Design and Research Center of Inspiramais, a consultant for the Instituto By Brasil, and curator of the Focus Design Vision Project of the Instituto Focus, which focuses on sustainability and is aimed at students in Brazilian fashion schools.
