The theme of the 4th World Plastic Connection Summit® was: Brazil as a trendsetter for global converted plastics. Held between April 8 and 10, 2025, the event highlighted innovation and sustainability in the sector for the global market.
The program featured an institutional opening by major industry names and the presentation of the eight ecosystem projects: the launch of Color Trend® 2026, the launch of the International Yearbook 2025, the presentation of the International Award 2025 trophies, technical visits by international buyers, internationalization consulting clinics, Buyers Project, Image Project, and an international hybrid seminar featuring renowned experts.

Color Trend 2026®
Marcelo Rosenbaum
Marcelo Rosenbaum is Brazilian and a Professor Honoris Causa of Architecture, a title granted by the Belas Artes University Center. He has led Rosenbaum Arquitetura e Design for over 20 years.
Founder of the Instituto A Gente Transforma, he developed his own social technology, Essential Design, aimed at connecting architecture and design with other tools for social transformation and impact expansion. The initiative seeks to bring new meanings and inclusive processes to the architecture and design chain.

Curated for the first time by a woman, architect Gabriela de Matos, the guide incorporates references from her repertoire, including Brazilian architecture and the knowledge of indigenous peoples.

Gabriela de Matos
An architect graduated from PUC Minas, Gabriela won the Golden Lion for Best National Participation at the 2023 Venice International Architecture Biennale with the curatorial project ‘Terra’—an unprecedented award for Brazil at the time.
She is a master’s student at Diversitas – Center for the Study of Diversities, Intolerances, and Conflicts at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages, and Human Sciences (FFLCH) of USP. She was co-president of the Institute of Architects of Brazil in the São Paulo department (IABsp), being the first Black woman to hold the position.
