IV EDITION OF THE EVENT

Now in its fourth edition, the Summit is the main Brazilian meeting with an international focus on the converted plastics sector.

With the theme “Converted plastic from Brazil: coloring the world with design, innovation and sustainability”, the 2025 edition will take place from April 8 to 10, at the Novotel Center Norte, in São Paulo.

Architect

Marcelo Rosenbaum is Brazilian, an Honorary Professor of Architecture, title granted by the Centro Universitário Belas Artes. He has been at the forefront of the Rosenbaum Architecture and Design for more than 20 years. Founder of the A Gente Transforma Institute, he developed his own social technology, called Essential Design, to connect architecture and design to other tools for social transformation and expansion of impacts, to bring new meanings and inclusive processes to the architecture and design chain.

Ana Cristina Paiva

Regional Sales Manager at ExxonMobil Química, responsible for ExxonMobil's Polyethylene business unit in Latin America.

A Chemical Engineer graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, she began her career at the company in 1995. She worked in the technical and commercial areas, market development, strategic planning and supply chain in different business units of the petrochemical segment during her career. She has been working in the Polyethylene resins segment since 2019. In 2021, Ana Cristina took over as leader of the Chemicals division for Latin America, based in São Paulo, with corporate responsibilities for this region. She is a member of the Chemical Women Leadership Team (CWLT), a global committee at ExxonMobil that supports inclusion and diversity activities within the corporation.

Marco Lobo

Designer

Marco is a doctoral student in Social Projects from FGV-CPDOC and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Design from UnB. 15 years of experience in international promotion and design management. Manager in Innovation and Design. Currently he is a Design Coordinator at Centro Universtário IESB, an Advisor at Centro Brasil Design, a Graduate Professor at ENFAM and the Coordinator of the Innovation, Sustainability and Design Center – Global Green Design – INP/Think Plastic Brazil.

Gisele Raulik

Designer

Gisele holds a doctorate degree in design public policies from the University of Wales and a master’s degree in innovation strategies from Brunel University (England). She is a co-owner at DUCO Consultoria de Design e Inovação. She worked at the Paraná Design Center, the Design Council of London, the Design Wales in Wales, and has recently worked in the innovation team of the Government of Paraná.

Dijon De Moraes

Designer

Designer, writer, lecturer, and teacher. PhD in Design from Politécnico di Milano (Italy), with a postdoctoral degree from the same institute. Professor Emeritus of the State University of Minas Gerais – UEMG, where he was a Dean for two consecutive terms. Author of the award-winning books: Limites do Design (Limits to Design) (Studio Nobel, 1997); Análise do design brasileiro (Analysis of Brazilian design) (Blucher, 2006), Metaprojeto: o design do design (Metaproject: the design of design) (Blucher, 2010) and Escritos de Design (Writings of Design) (Blucher, 2021). He received from the Italian Government in 2019 the title of “Cavalieri dell’Ordine della Stella di Italia”.

Sandra Marchi

Teacher and creator of See Color

Sandra graduated in Fine Arts from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) and moved to the capital of Paraná to pursue her master’s and doctorate degrees, deepening her studies on colors. During her doctorate, she was a member of the Research and Development Network in Assistive Technology (RPDTA), dedicated to developing devices, techniques, and processes aimed at assistance and rehabilitation, promoting quality of life, autonomy, and inclusion for people with disabilities. In this context, she created the See Color method, an innovative and unique approach that goes beyond Braille and represents an unprecedented and surprising accessibility solution.

Carlos Alberto de Oliveira

Commercial Director – see color

Graduated in Foreign Trade (FACEX), 1975. Commercial Manager at Bergerson Joalheiros from 1970 to 1981. Entrepreneur in the representation sector at Vectra Representações Ltda from 1981 to 2000. Commercial Director at Boiko Joalheiros from 2001 to 2003. Currently, Commercial Director at See Color – Tactile Language of Colors. Self-taught in Chromotherapy, having trained hundreds of professionals. Author of the book “Discovering the Power of Colors”. Speaker and Coach in the commercial field.

Angela Tamiko Hirata

Director of Foreign Trade

She was the Director of Foreign Trade at Alpargatas S.A. from 2001 to 2014. Together with her team, she took on the challenge of developing new markets and promoting the international expansion of the Havaianas®️ brand. In just three years, she led the company (Alpargatas) to export to five continents and more than 80 countries, positioning the ‘Havaianas®️’ brand in the market and securing its place in renowned international storefronts. Today, the Havaianas brand is present in over 100 countries.
